Golden Persian Terms

Discover the beauty of Persian culture through its unique and special words.

Persian culture is over 2,500 years old, with roots in the Achaemenid Empire founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BC. However, a continuous "Persian civilization" is significantly older, with evidence of complex societies like the Elamite kingdom dating back to 4000 BC, which influenced the later Persian culture.
